About Hangingbalance Septic and How Referrals Work
Who we are
Hangingbalance Septic is a referral service for homeowners with septic and sewer problems. Think of us as the neighbor who knows who to ring. We help you find independent local providers. We do not do the work.
Why this site exists
Rainy seasons are hard on septic tanks, drainfields and sewer lines. Many homeowners notice a problem and then freeze. Who do you call? What do you check first? This site gives you simple steps and a path to a local provider.
We also want you to feel less alone with the problem. A slow drain or a wet patch in the yard is stressful. Clear answers make the next step easier to take.
What you can check yourself
Some things are safe to look at. Walk the yard and note soggy spots. Run a faucet and see how fast it drains. Smell near the tank area. Write it all down.
Take a few photos too. Pictures of wet ground, stains or slow drains help a provider understand the job before the visit. Jot down the date you first noticed each sign.
Know where to stop. Do not open a tank lid. Do not dig near a line. Gases and deep holes are dangerous. Those jobs belong to a pro.
How providers are matched
When you reach out, we look at what you describe and where you live. Then we connect you with a provider in our network who handles that kind of job in your area. Availability varies, so we cannot promise who can come or when. Many providers can respond quickly, but it depends on the day and the weather.
What we expect from providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Explain the problem in plain words
- Give a written quote before starting
- Treat your home and yard with care
- Answer your questions honestly
Each provider runs its own business and sets its own prices and schedule.
What we do not do
Hangingbalance Septic does not pump tanks. It does not repair drainfields or sewer lines. It does not send out workers of its own. It does not set prices. The provider does the work, and your agreement is with them.
How we are paid
Providers may pay Hangingbalance Septic for connecting them with homeowners. You do not pay us to make the connection. You pay the provider for the work you choose to hire them for.
