How Our Network Works

Who you talk to

You talk to an independent provider in our network. Each one runs its own business. They are not employees of Hangingbalance Septic. We make the introduction, and they take it from there.

What happens on the call

Keep it simple. Here is a calm way to start:

  • Say where you live and what you see
  • Mention smells, gurgles or wet patches
  • Share when the tank was last pumped, if you know
  • Ask if the provider serves your address

If a drain is backing up, stop using water first. Skip laundry and long showers. That keeps the problem from growing while you wait.

It is fine to read from your notes. Providers hear from stressed homeowners all the time. A short, clear list of what you noticed helps them ask the right follow-up questions.

What to ask a provider

Good questions save headaches later. Try these:

  • Is this pumping, a repair or a sewer line job?
  • What will the visit involve?
  • Can I get a written quote?
  • What could change the price?
  • How soon can someone look at it?

Prices vary by job, tank size and access. Wet ground can also change the work. A written quote helps you compare.

If you have a well, ask whether the provider offers water well service or can point you to someone who does.

You are in control

Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can ask questions, think it over and compare. If something feels rushed, slow down. No obligation to hire anyone.

For insurance, some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

If you are unsure about a quote, ask the provider to explain each line. A good provider will take the time to walk you through it.
